Machias Maine Activities

Machias Maine Wild Blueberry Festival in Downtown Machias is one of the areas biggest event attractions.

Annual festival in celebration of the Maine wild blueberry harvest. A Main Street parade, fabulous food, crafts and fine art by regional artists, live music, and activities for the entire family are some of the highlights of the Wild Blueberry Festival. In 2007 the dates are August 17th to 19th.

Another local favorite event in June is The Margaretta Days Festival celebrating the Anniversary of the 1st Naval Battle of the American Revolution between the Unity and the Margaretta, often called our "Lexington of the Sea".
